Regulators OK bank branch

March 10, 2007 Business Brief Capitola Regulators OK bank branch Santa Cruz County Bank has obtained regulatory approval to open a full-service branch office at 819 Bay Ave., Suite D. The location is in the Capitola Center shopping complex, home to Nob Hill Foods, Longs Drug and Peets Coffee. The Capitola Planning Commission gave its approval Feb. 15. The branch, headed by Karen Marcum, is scheduled to open in the second quarter, bank officials said. This will be the fourth branch for the locally owned bank, which opened its doors in February 2004. Other branches are located in Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley and Watsonville. Sentinel staff report
