What phones are supported?
Apple iPhone® and all phones using the Android™ operating system are supported.
The specific app for each operating system can be found at their respective app store.

Is Business Mobile Banking secure?
Business Mobile Banking uses encryption and login security to protect your accounts. In addition, Business Mobile Banking applies all user permissions assigned in Business Online Banking.

How do I deposit a check using Business Mobile Banking?
Select deposit, enter the amount, and take a picture of the front and back of the check. That's it! Within seconds of uploading the transaction, you'll receive a confirmation that the deposit was received successfully.

What types of checks can be processed through Business Mobile Banking?
All U.S. (domestic) personal and business checks can be processed through Business Mobile Banking.
Checks from other countries, food stamps, savings bonds and poor image quality checks must be deposited traditionally.

When are deposits posted to my account?
Deposits received electronically are processed similar to traditional paper deposits. Funds will normally be available within 1 business day*.
Original checks should be stored for a minimum of 30 days after posting prior to being destroyed.
*Delays may apply.

How do I prevent checks from being scanned and deposited twice?
The software has built-in duplicate detection tools that detect items already captured. If the software detects potential duplicate checks, an alert prompts you to make a decision about the items in question. As a precaution, endorse the back of your checks with "For Mobile Deposit Only".

How do I know the image quality is acceptable?
Business Mobile Banking has an Image Quality Assessment (IQA) tool that identifies image issues. If an issue is detected, you'll be asked to retake the photo.

You can rest assured knowing that Mobile Banking from Santa Cruz County Bank provides the same level of enhanced security as Online Banking. Your personal information is protected by multiple layers of the latest in encryption and security technology. No sensitive data is stored on your mobile phone.

Consider these tips to help stay safe and secure when you're banking with us on the go:

  • Keep your mobile device updated
It's a good idea to always update your device's operating system and applications. These updates can help you protect your device against new vulnerabilities.
  • Password protect your mobile device and set your device to lock when it's not being used
This will help prevent someone from getting access to your personal data.
  • Only download apps from a trusted source
Fraudsters post links to fake apps to get malicious software on your device.
  • Install mobile security software on your device
This protects you against malicious software (malware) and computer viruses. You can find this software in your app store. If you have mobile security software installed on your device, make sure to keep it updated for better protection.
  • Install software to find and remotely wipe your mobile phone
This software can help you locate your phone via GPS or remotely wipe it. You can get software with these features from your app store.
  • Don't modify your phone's operating system
This is also known as jail breaking, which violates your device's warranty and exposes it to more security threats.
